1. Ziplining
Ziplining is a phenomenal way to take in the majestic beauty of the Smoky Mountains. Located right across the street from the national park, the CLIMB Works zipline course boasts some of the very best views in the Southeast. Zipping high up in the trees allows a bird’s eye view of one of the most beautiful places on Earth.
CLIMB Works features nine state-of-the-art ziplines that each offer a completely unique experience. Our signature canopy tour also includes three gorgeous sky bridges and an exciting ATV ride up to the top of the course. When you participate in one of our zipline adventures, your feet won’t touch the ground for 2.5 hours!
All of our canopy tours are led by knowledgeable guides who will stick with you every step of the way. Absolutely no prior experience is needed to go ziplining; all you have to do is show up and have fun!
2. Mountain Biking
Mountain biking is another one of the most popular outdoor activities in Gatlinburg TN. In addition to our exhilarating zipline course, CLIMB Works Smoky Mountains is home to an awesome biking trail. Known as “El Regis”, our trail is a scenic two-mile loop in the heart of the Smoky Mountains that you can ride as many times as you want. The course offers uphill, smooth flow, and downhill sections. A highlight of the trail is “The Curliest”, a spiraling wooden structure that is an absolute blast to bike down.
Guests are welcome to bring their own mountain bikes to CLIMB Works or they can rent one of our high-end Trek bikes. El Regis is perfect for both experienced and first-time mountain bikers. After riding the first loop with one of our experienced guides, the trail is then self-guided and can be completed as quickly or as slowly as guests desire.
3. White Water Rafting
Located 45 minutes away from downtown Gatlinburg, the Pigeon River is the third most rafted river in the United States! When you sign up for a white water rafting adventure with Smoky Mountain Outdoors, you’ll have the chance to conquer the Pigeon River’s thrilling class 3 and class 4 rapids.
